Job summary

Huxley in Boston seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Operations Engineer to manage large-scale AWS and Kubernetes environments, focusing on platform operations, reliability, security, and day-to-day support.

You will operate production Kubernetes clusters, AWS infrastructure (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2), and implement IaC, automation, and observability with Datadog, Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD. Hybrid work with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Experience administering production Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong AWS infrastructure experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2, etc.).
• Responsible for on-call rotations and incident response.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive improvements.
• Experience with IaC and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize large-scale AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Own platform reliability, security, and day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and networking teams to ensure a stable cloud.
• Drive operational improvements and incident response readiness.
