Job summary

Huxley in Boston seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Operations Engineer to manage large-scale AWS and Kubernetes environments, focusing on platform operations, reliability, security, and day-to-day support.

You will operate production Kubernetes clusters, AWS infrastructure (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2), and implement IaC, automation, and observability with Datadog, Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD. Hybrid work with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Experience administering production Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong AWS infrastructure experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2, etc.).
• Responsible for on-call rotations and incident response.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive improvements.
• Experience with IaC and automation.

Responsibilities

Senior Cloud Platform Operations Engineer | Boston, MA

We're partnering with an investment firm seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Operations Engineer to help manage and optimize large-scale AWS and Kubernetes environments. This is a highly hands-on role focused on platform operations, reliability, security, and day-to-day support rather than building internal developer platforms.

Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in office)

The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering production Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure, including EKS, IAM, networking, monitoring, and automation. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, participating in on-call rotations, driving operational improvements, and partnering closely with engineering, security, and networking teams to ensure a stable, scalable, and secure cloud environment.
