Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer L2 to evolve and maintain Compute infrastructure in a remote-enabled role. You will develop scalable cloud-native environments, manage VM orchestration, and secure container images while automating processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AWS Cloud infrastructure management, including AMI, EC2, IAM policies/roles.
• Strong ASG knowledge to design and support scalable environments.
• Proficiency in Java or Python and shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Experience with container-based services and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tech Leaders and Engineers to design distributed compute solutions.
• Automate operations for monitoring, performance, planning, and disaster recovery.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code standards to ensure high-quality implementations.
• Document designs, runbooks, and changes, maintaining traceability.
• Apply Agile practices to continuously deliver value to customers.
• Act as point of contact for legacy and new compute components.
