UNC Greensboro is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support the University’s Azure cloud infrastructure and on premises VMware environment supporting ~200 VMs and campus servers.

The role emphasizes patching, incident response, capacity management, and automation using Ansible and PowerShell, while maintaining certificate lifecycles and following security and change-management standards. Eligible for full-time telework.

Formación

• Manage on premises VMware infrastructure and servers.
• Automate configuration and certificate lifecycles with standard tools.

Responsabilidades

• Administer Azure and on premises VMware infrastructure.
• Provision and manage VMs, compute resources, and storage.
• Maintain VMware hosts, capacity, and upgrades.
• Document supported infrastructure and coordinate changes.
• Provide tier three support for supported systems.
