The University of North Carolina at Greensboro seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support the Azure cloud environment and on‑prem VMware infrastructure. The role also covers enterprise Linux/Windows servers, configuration automation with Ansible and PowerShell, and automated certificate lifecycle processes to ensure secure, compliant operations.

• Mid-career with Master’s and 1–2 yrs experience; or Bachelor’s and 2–4 yrs experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, administer, and support the University’s Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage on‑premises VMware infrastructure and enterprise Linux/Windows servers.
• Perform server lifecycle administration including patching, incident response, and capacity management.
• Develop and support automated SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle processes (discovery, renewal, deployment, validation, expiration monitoring).
