Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a leader for the Global Cloud Services organization to manage Public Cloud Cost & Usage governance. You will drive long-range planning, forecast monthly costs, and work with cloud engineers, data teams, and product managers to optimize spending across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Reporting to the Director of Cloud FinOps, you will develop cost forecasting models, manage commit-based discounts, and create dashboards to communicate insights to engineering, finance, and executives

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's; or 8 years with a Master's; or a PhD with 5 years in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years in a FinOps or cloud financial management role
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud providers is a strong plus
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Finance, and Leadership

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across AWS, GCP and Azure
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement cost-effective cloud solutions
• Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasting models
• Manage commit-based discounts to optimize long-term costs
• Provide visibility into cloud expenses via dashboards and reports
• Define cost allocations to measure cost per customer and per instance
• Promote best practices for cloud cost governance
• Identify opportunities for automation in cost management
• Coordinate with GTM on customer migration planning
