ServiceNow in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Senior Staff Cloud FinOps Analyst to lead enterprise-scale cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and private infrastructure. The role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Finance, Product, and procurement, transforming cost and usage data into actionable strategies that improve efficiency and gross margin.

Responsibilities include governance, rate optimization, and savings realization, plus shaping AI-powered FinOps tooling.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Candidates should bring extensive FinOps, cloud economics, infrastructure analytics, or technology-finance experience
• Strong AWS, Azure, and GCP pricing knowledge
• Advanced SQL, forecasting, and financial-modeling skills
• Demonstrated expertise in rate optimization, rightsizing, savings validation, and cloud unit economics.

Responsibilities

• Governance and accountability across owners, allocation standards, and budget/threshold alerting.
• Develop and optimize multi-cloud rate strategy including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and other pricing instruments.
• Analyze consumption forecasts, pricing, workload demand, and risk; build scenarios to quantify savings and exposure.
• Build enterprise optimization pipeline covering rate, usage, and efficiency metrics; measure realized savings.
• Contribute to AI-powered FinOps tooling and data-product development with cross-functional teams.
