Job summary
RTX is seeking a Cloud Engineer to provision, configure, operate, and maintain Windows/Linux infrastructure in cloud and hybrid environments. You will design and support cloud applications, automate tasks, and collaborate across distributed teams.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years deploying cloud solutions on Azure/AWS, strong scripting (PowerShell/Terraform), and experience with AD/VMware. Remote work is supported with occasional non-standard shifts during onboarding.
Qualifications
- 5+ years deploying and managing cloud solutions on Azure/AWS.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers across environments.
- Proficient with AD, WSUS, VMware; strong scripting in PowerShell and Terraform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with a small team on cloud projects and system support.
- Deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
- Design and support cloud infrastructure for new workloads.
- Oversee cloud operations and infrastructure for new workloads.
- Create and maintain system documentation and best practices.
- Work in geographically distributed teams.
- Occasional off-hours support during early months.
