Job summary

remoting.work is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, with emphasis on automation and reliability. The role works largely asynchronously with a distributed team across multiple countries, following established standards and security practices.

You will design, deploy, and manage Azure resources using ARM templates, implement pipelines with Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps, and codify infrastructure with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Experience with Terraform on Azure and ARM templates.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure infrastructure using ARM templates.
• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for Azure environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Apply Azure best practices to keep cloud resources secure, cost-efficient, and well-organized.
