Job summary

Jamf seeks a Systems Development Engineer II to automate and develop the backend infrastructure powering JamfCloud. You will implement Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD to support deployment of Jamf products.

You will work with Product Owners and Cloud teams, participate in Agile practices, and help ensure security, reliability, and scalability of services used by tens of thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year experience with CI tools and configuration management.
• Power user of Linux/Windows/Mac.
• 2+ years in a current programming language (Python, Golang).
• 2+ years using source control (Git, Subversion).
• 2+ years using JIRA or similar issue trackers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain production environments with automation and IaC, serverless, and containers.
• Incorporate security best practices into system designs and configurations.
• Evaluate, plan, configure, and implement new software services.
• Develop custom tools and automation via programming/scripting.
• Support CI/CD and scale environments as needed.
• Manage data lifecycle with backups, permissions, and auditing.
• Participate in on-call rotation and disaster recovery.
• Contribute in Agile ceremonies with Product Owners and Cloud teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
