Job summary

KeyData Cyber is seeking a Jamf Engineer (contract) to design, implement, and support enterprise Jamf Pro solutions across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. You will work directly with clients to deliver secure, scalable device management, enrollment, and policy deployments in a remote environment.

The role requires hands-on Jamf expertise, strong Apple platform knowledge, and scripting skills (Bash/Zsh) for automation.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Jamf Pro in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Apple operating systems and MDM concepts.
• Experience integrating Jamf with enterprise systems and troubleshooting the associated device workflows.
• Proficiency in Bash or Zsh scripting for macOS administration and automation.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, authentication methods, and integration troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain Jamf Pro to manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.
• Implement device enrollment and provisioning workflows using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment.
• Develop and maintain configuration profiles, policies, smart groups, and device restrictions.
• Configure device settings for network connectivity, VPN, certificates, encryption, and access to corporate resources.
• Package, deploy, update, and troubleshoot applications, including Jamf Self Service.
• Integrate Jamf with identity providers and IT systems as required.
• Develop scripts and API integrations to automate device management tasks.
• Troubleshoot enrollment failures and configuration conflicts across environments.
• Monitor device inventory and OS update status; test changes before production.
• Collaborate with identity, security, and service-desk teams to ensure secure UX.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
