Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a System Development Engineer to own deployment, administration, and automation of productivity tools in AWS GovCloud. You will manage Jama Connect, integrate with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket, and support systems engineering workflows at scale.

You will contribute to ITAR-compliant infrastructure, on-call reliability, and automation across the toolchain, collaborating with senior engineers to implement scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, maintain, and scale Jama Connect infrastructure in AWS GovCloud (ITAR/EAR).
Design and implement CDK stacks for compute, databases, networking, and storage.
Build automation for user provisioning, access management, backups, patching, and monitoring.
Develop integrations between Jama and Kuiper tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, TestRail).
Maintain security controls compliant with ITAR and export regulations; manage least-privilege access.
Create dashboards, alarms, runbooks; participate in on-call rotation.
