Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Cloud Architect (Services) to design, develop, and modernize scalable, secure cloud services for government customers. This remote role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and to translate mission and security requirements into practical cloud architectures and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field
• 8+ years IT infra/cloud, 5+ years in cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with cloud-migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platform)

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud-service and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop cloud-architecture standards, patterns, governance.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of cloud services for modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Design and maintain architecture docs and decision records.
• Support ATO processes with automation and evidence.
