Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Principal Cloud Architect to lead cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP for government customers. This role provides architecture governance, security, and modernization initiatives in a multi-cloud environment.

The position requires deep technical vision, strong DevSecOps focus, and hands-on leadership to design scalable, secure solutions while mentoring cloud professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years of technical leadership inDevSecOps and architecture.
• 7+ years architecting enterprise solutions across two or more cloud platforms.
• 5+ years in senior/principal architect roles leading multi-cloud strategy.
• 5+ years developing DevSecOps incl. IaC, CI/CD, scripting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior SME for multi-cloud architecture strategy, design, governance and support across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Define enterprise cloud architecture standards, governance, and security practices across all platforms.
• Design security-driven, scalable enterprise architectures (SOA, microservices) across cloud platforms.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud platforms, tools and technologies to meet mission requirements.
• Drive automation with IaC and CI/CD across non-containerized and containerized environments.
• Develop cloud cost optimization strategies and enforce governance across multi-cloud environments.
