Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Cloud Architect (Services) to design, implement, and modernize scalable cloud services for a government client. This remote role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

The ideal candidate will lead cloud design across security, governance, and automation, collaborating with engineering and security teams to enable mission delivery and continuous authorization processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years in IT infra/cloud, with 5+ years in cloud architecture.
• Experience designing/implementing on AWS, Azure, or GCP; cloud-migration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud-service and infrastructure solutions for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and enforce cloud-architecture standards and reference architectures.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of cloud services and technologies to support modernization.
