Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support licensing for physicians and APPs, manage pre-credentialing workflows, and track milestones across multiple sites. This fully remote role offers a 40-hour week and flexible scheduling between 6am-5pm.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in healthcare, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely onboarding and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Licensing support: explain state licensing requirements for physicians and APPs.
• Document intake and quality review of clinician documentation across regions.
• Oversee full pre-credentialing workflow to meet timelines.
• Track credentialing milestones and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with recruitment, medical staff services, managed care, and government enrollment teams.
• Support standardized forms, terminology, and tracking tools across credentialing workflows.
• Serve as a point of contact for clinicians and internal stakeholders on licensing timelines.
