WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Budget Analyst to support clinical trial budget development and start-up activities for site clients. This role focuses on building budgets, negotiating with sponsors, and ensuring accurate activity grids aligned with protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; significant work experience may substitute.
• Proactive, results-driven and goal-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to understand clinical terms with investigative skills.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with clinical trial start-up processes (preferred).
• Experience reading protocols and familiarity with research billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of clinical trial budget builds and/or budget negotiations.
• Read and analyze clinical trial protocols and develop activity grid to identify required tests, procedures, and assessments.
• Use software and internal resources to identify CPT/HCPCS codes for items in the activity grid.
• Build comprehensive clinical trial budgets based on client pricing methodologies and internal standards.
• Negotiate clinical trial budgets with trial sponsor/CRO via email and phone.
• Review work completed by others as part of internal quality review.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
