Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the start-up of clinical trials for site clients. The role focuses on building and negotiating budgets, interpreting protocols, and identifying coding needs to create accurate cost estimates.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work in a performance-driven environment. Location is US-Remote with normal business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; significant related work experience may substitute.
• Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to understand clinical terms and descriptors; strong investigative skills.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with clinical trial budgeting and start-up processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of clinical trial budget builds and negotiations.
• Read and analyze protocols and develop an activity grid to identify required tests and procedures.
• Identify CPT/HCPCS codes for items in the activity grid using internal resources.
• Build comprehensive budgets based on client pricing methodologies and internal standards.
• Negotiate clinical trial budgets with sponsors/CRO via email and phone.
• Review work as part of the internal quality review process.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
