Job summary

Syneos Health in Remote, NJ is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to oversee site and central monitoring, ensure patient safety and data integrity, and manage cross-functional study teams. The role requires leading risk-based monitoring and coordinating with investigators, CRAs, and data management to meet milestones.

The position emphasizes collaboration across functions such as Start Up, Recruitment and Data Management, along with managing CTMS/EDC systems and training for study teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align teams in achieving milestones.
• Experience working in an international environment and with clinical trial sites.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management, clinical monitoring and central monitoring with focus on patient safety and data integrity.
• Review study scope, budget and protocol; ensure team awareness of contractual obligations.
• Identify risks to deliverables and escalate to project management as needed.
• Develop and implement risk mitigations; participate in key meetings.
• Coordinate training for the study team on protocol specifics and data plans.
• Ensure CTMS, EDC and other systems are set up and used effectively; manage access/audit trails.
• Monitor dashboards and systems to verify timely execution of visits, calls, and milestones.
• Provide status updates to clients and leadership on deliverables and risks.
