Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Clinical Research Budget Analyst to lead calendar builds and develop high-complexity coverage analyses for clinical trials. This role negotiates budgets across industry sponsors, grants, and other funding sources, ensuring all costs are captured and reflected in final sponsor budgets.

The analyst will leverage CTMS and other systems to support pre-award activities, provide guidance to junior staff, and contribute to workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology and other health sciences or financial/business administration field; or associate degree and relevant certifications OR equivalent experience.
• Minimum four (4) years' experience in development, negotiation, management, reconciliation, and/or review of clinical trial budgets and/or coverage analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate budgets for clinical research studies across funding sources.
• Create and maintain calendar builds and medium to high complexity coverage analyses.
• Maintain and update coverage determinations for protocol amendments.
• Develop internal cost budgets to inform sponsor budget negotiations and ensure all costs are captured.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues and improve workflows using CTMS and related systems.
