Job summary

MD Integrations seeks a Clinical Support Specialist to back telehealth clinical workflows and patient care with a focus on accuracy and privacy. You will document all interactions in the EHR and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a high-quality virtual care experience.

This fully remote, full-time position offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with intraday flexibility and occasional weekend rotation. Prior authorizations and patient education are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant credentials required (e.g., CMA or RMA).
• Minimum 2 years in clinical support or care coordination; telehealth preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA privacy and data security; familiarity with virtual care standards.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate treatment management by handling patient and provider communications and tracking prescriptions.
• Provide patient education and support for care plans and medication usage via telehealth.
• Accurately document patient interactions and plans in the EHR per standards.
• Collaborate with internal clinical teams to ensure a seamless virtual care experience.
• Initiate and follow up on prior authorizations with insurers and patients.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy in a virtual care setting.
• Support telehealth workflows and participate in team meetings and process improvements.
