Job summary

The Columbus Organization is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee Intensive Support Coordinators and provide clinical guidance for participants with complex behavioral needs. This remote role requires West Central Georgia residence and occasional in-person elements as needed.

You will supervise caseloads, conduct annual joint visits, and collaborate with team leaders to ensure compliant service delivery and effective resources for waiver participants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with individuals with complex behavioral issues in a behavioral health setting related to ID/DD.
• At least three years’ experience providing home and community-based case management services for individuals with disabilities.
• Two years’ experience making recommendations as part of a client’s service plan (clinical treatment, counseling, or determining eligibility).
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license and access to an automobile.
• Must be one of the following: BCBA, Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMSW or RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing consultation to ISCs with joint visits, risk assessment and resource coordination.
• Complete a quarterly review of 25% of caseloads and document findings for DBHDD review.
• Identify training needs with leadership and develop staff training plans.
• Act as clinical consultant for each ISC Coordinator and participants on the caseload.
• Conduct a minimum of one annual joint visit with each individual on the supervisory caseload.
• Maintain familiarity with nursing or behavioral health care plans and evaluate their efficacy.
• Hold monthly supervisory sessions with each ISC to review caseloads and risk levels.
• Be available to help ISCs solve problems and participate in ISP meetings and planning.
• Serve as a resource for information during ISP meetings and plan development.
