Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS NORAM is seeking a Clinical Solutions Engineer to bring hands-on NGS experience into a dynamic field role in the United States. This field-based position covers the territory from the West Coast through Texas, with a remote home-office setup and travel for customer meetings and events.

You will work with sales to understand customer needs and explain what adoption entails for their laboratory.

Qualifications

• Hands-on NGS in a clinical laboratory.
• Understanding of how clinical laboratories operate beyond the bench.
• Exposure to CAP/CLIA requirements and inspection processes.
• Experience with assay implementation or validation.

Responsibilities

• Explain to customers what adoption would mean for their laboratory.
• Collaborate with sales to address technical and operational questions.
• Support customers in the buying decision by building credibility with lab teams.
• Bridge laboratory operations knowledge with customer needs to enable informed purchases.
