Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS NORAM seeks a Clinical Solutions Engineer to translate hands-on NGS experience into practical, laboratory deployments within a commercial sales context. Based in the United States, you will work from a home office and travel to meet customers, conferences and events across the West Coast to Texas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wet-lab experience with NGS workflows in a clinical laboratory.
• Understanding of how clinical laboratories operate beyond the bench, including assay validation.
• Substantial exposure to CAP/CLIA requirements and inspection processes.
• Experience with assay implementation or validation to understand live deployment challenges.
• Willingness to travel for a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Help labs evaluate the SOPHiA GENETICS ecosystem using your NGS and lab ops expertise.
• Address CAP/CLIA and documentation considerations during adoption discussions.
