Job summary
Watchmaker Genomics is seeking a Field Applications Scientist in North America (remote, West Coast preferred). The role involves technical pre- and post-sales support for NGS and precision enzyme products, with up to 75% travel across the U.S.
You will develop training materials and present to customers while collaborating with sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has an MSc in a relevant field and 4+ years in NGS field applications, with strong communication and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field-based NGS applications and troubleshooting.
- Ability to train customers and present technical content at events.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical and scientific support for NGS and enzyme portfolios.
- Travel up to 75% in NA, including co-travel with sales and conferences.
- Develop training material and present technical content to customers.
- Collect customer feedback to inform product development and market needs.
- Support marketing with posters, white papers, and webinars.
