SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Clinical Solutions Engineer for the NORAM Sales team. This field-based role supports laboratories on the West Coast through Texas, enabling informed purchasing decisions for the SOPHiA GENETICS ecosystem.

You will apply hands-on NGS experience and a deep understanding of clinical lab operations to guide customers. Travel to customer sites, conferences and events is expected, with the aim of helping laboratories adopt the SOPHiA platform and ensure smooth validation

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on wet-lab experience with NGS in a clinical lab.
• Understanding of how clinical labs operate beyond bench work.
• Substantial exposure to CAP/CLIA requirements and inspection processes.
• Experience with assay implementation or validation to anticipate lab challenges.
• Willingness to travel for a customer-facing role.

Aufgaben

• Assist clinical laboratories in evaluating and purchasing the SOPHiA GENETICS ecosystem.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and adoption impact.
• Explain CAP/CLIA implications, documentation, and timelines to labs.
• Support customers with technical and operational questions to enable informed decisions.
