Job summary

Merck is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to lead end-to-end performance and project management for assigned protocols, ensuring ICH/GCP compliance and local regulations. The role may supervise multiple countries within a cluster and requires strong collaboration with QA, PV, Regulatory and GMA teams.

You will act as the main POC for protocols, drive study deliverables, manage timelines and budgets, train local teams, and coordinate with CROs and investigators. Remote position with 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical research experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and ICH-GCP.

Responsibilities

• Main POC for assigned protocols and links between Country Operations and CTT.
• Plan, drive, and track execution to meet country commitments across feasibility, recruitment, and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP and local regulations and internal policies.
• Lead local study teams, train protocol participants, and coordinate with CRAs and vendors.
• Collaborate with PV, Regulatory and GMA; manage CROs and investigators as needed.
