Job summary

Merck is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to lead end-to-end performance and project management for assigned protocols in a country, ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP and local regulations. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical research
• Bachelor’s degree in science (or comparable)
• Advanced degree preferred
• Clinical Research Associate (CRA) experience
• 3+ years of Oncology experience
• Prior experience with lung cancer studies
• Study Management experience

Responsibilities

• Main POC for assigned protocols and liaison between Country Operations and CTT.
• Manage studies: plan, drive, and track deliverables and timelines to meet country commitments.
• Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP and country regulations, policies, quality standards and AE reporting.
• Review Monitoring Visits Reports and escalate performance or training needs.
• Lead local study teams to high performance; train local roles in the protocol.
• Create and execute a local risk management plan for assigned studies.
• Ensure compliance with CTMS, eTMF, and other key systems.
• Collaborate with HQ, PV, Regulatory and GMA to align on key decisions.
• Build business relationships with investigators; customer-facing role.
• Share protocol-specific information across countries.
