Job summary

Merck is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to oversee end-to-end performance for assigned protocols in a country, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and local regulations. The role coordinates with Country Operations, the Clinical Trial Team, and external partners to drive feasibility, site selection, recruitment, execution, and study closeout.

This remote position may involve extensive cross-country collaboration and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trial planning, execution and monitoring.
• Ability to lead study teams in a remote/multinational environment.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge (ICH GCP).

Responsibilities

• Main POC for assigned protocols; liaison between Country Operations and CTT.
• Plan, drive, and track execution of deliverables to meet country commitments.
• Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP and country regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with PV, Regulatory and GMA; coordinate with HQ functions.
• Sign contracts and manage budgets if delegated.
