Job summary

UNC Health in Durham, NC is seeking a highly motivated pharmacist to join the multidisciplinary Hematology/Oncology team serving UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center patients in community practices.

You will provide comprehensive pharmacotherapy management for hematology/oncology patients, collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate patients, monitor therapies, and participate in quality initiatives and resident precepting.

Qualifications

• Licensed CPP in NC.
• Completion of PGY1 or PGY2 residency preferred.
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacist care and disease management for oncology patients.
• Respond to drug information questions from medical staff and pharmacy colleagues.
• Evaluate and optimize chemotherapy regimens to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers about chemotherapy plans.
• Coordinate medication access and transitions across care settings.
