Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree required.
• Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or licensure obtained within 6 months of orientation.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong hematology/oncology pharmacotherapy knowledge and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and caregivers about hematology/oncology infusion therapy plans.
• Respond to drug information questions from medical/nursing staff and colleagues.
• Coordinate medication-related aspects of transitional care between infusion and outpatient services.
• Serve as liaison to address medication access barriers and ensure timely delivery of specialty medications.
• Collaborate with infusion pharmacy and other teams on policies and initiatives.
