Job summary

Modena Health is seeking a knowledgeable Clinical Nurse Educator to support the professional development of our growing clinical teams in San Diego. You will ensure nurses, medical assistants, and staff receive training, resources, and support to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

You’ll develop engaging educational programs, strengthen onboarding, assess competencies, and promote continuous learning across outpatient locations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, outpatient/ambulatory preferred.
• Experience training, mentoring, or educating clinical staff.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and patient safety.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across sites.
• Proficient with EHR and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver clinical education programs for nursing and staff.
• Facilitate virtual training sessions, workshops, and ongoing professional development.
• Create training materials, resources, and standardized learning guides.
• Support education related to allergy and asthma care and safety.
• Onboard and orient new clinical employees with consistent programs.
• Develop role-specific training plans and competency tools.
• Coordinate competency evaluations with on-site leadership and preceptors.
• Identify learning gaps and provide training recommendations.
• Ensure standardized workflows and clinical policy alignment.
• Maintain training records and program metrics.
• Collaborate on multi-site training initiatives and growth plans.
