Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Associate Clinical Admin Coordinator for a remote role across the U.S. The position handles a high volume of member calls, coordinates admissions, discharges and referrals, and supports clinical teams with service requests. Evening hours are included in a flexible MST schedule.

Required: a high school diploma, 1+ years of customer service, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Benefits and a comprehensive compensation package are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of telephonic or in-person customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Manage member admission/discharge information post notification.
• Coordinate with hospitals and clinics to fulfill service requests from members/providers.
• Process referrals and prior authorizations including intake, notification and census roles.
• Provide triage and care coordination notifications for non-clinical assessment.
• Address inquiries from members/providers and resolve issues.
