Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Senior Clinical Admin Nurse (CCS) for a remote role supporting UMR membership. The ideal candidate coordinates care, educates members, and navigates the health system with a focus on cost efficiency and outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license, 4+ years acute nursing, 2+ years case management, and basic computer skills. Flexibility to work standard weekday hours is required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN compact license.
• - 4+ years of acute nursing experience.
• - 2+ years of case management experience.
• - Med-surg, critical care and/or ER experience.
• - Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Outlook).
• - Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with tools and educational support to navigate the health care system.
• Assist members with adverse determinations, including the appeal process.
• Teach members how to navigate UMR online wellness tools and resources.
• Outreach to membership providing pre-admission counseling.
• Outreach to membership providing discharge planning to members and caretakers.
• Track activities and document for customer reporting.
• Coordinate medical care and community referrals as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and documentation standards.
