Job summary

University Medical Billing (UMB) is a fully remote department serving over 1,800 providers and 30+ specialties across Utah and surrounding states. We seek a Department Services Manager to be the main post-sale client contact, handle account maintenance, and guide clients to appropriate departments.

Remote work with office-hour scheduling and required equipment are noted. Eligible for bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent + 4 years related work experience for Client Relationship Manager II.
• Bachelor’s degree + 6 years or Master’s degree + 4 years for Client Relationship Manager III.
• 5 years’ experience supporting physicians, clinicians, and/or department administrators is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the appropriateness and effectiveness of service within the division to deliver outstanding service.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by analyzing complaints and following through.
• Presents financial and regulatory information to external customers monthly.
• Manages new businesses and services for internal and external customers.
• Develops and implements policies for customer service aligned with University of Utah policies.
• Analyzes processes to identify efficiencies in productivity and savings.
