Job summary

Compensation Jobs is seeking a Classification and Compensation Specialist to collaborate with the HR Manager of Classification & Compensation. You will evaluate salary offers, perform job analyses, and administer the classification/compensation system to ensure fair and equitable practices.

The role offers primarily remote work with occasional office visits for team meetings. You will handle salary reviews, job evaluations, and maintain HRIS data while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or related field and two years HR experience focused on classification and compensation.
• Experience with integrated HRIS systems and HR data management.
• Strong knowledge of classification and compensation practices and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Review qualifications and salary equity to recommend offers and adjustments.
• Conduct compensation reviews and salary analyses for hires, promotions, transfers, or demotions.
• Maintain documentation of decisions and ensure accuracy in records.
• Interview and survey to gather job information and perform job evaluations.
• Assess duties to determine classification, FLSA status and salary ranges.
• Prepare and maintain job descriptions reflecting actual work.
