Job summary

Fisher Phillips is seeking an experienced Class Action Attorney for a mostly remote role in the United States. The candidate will join as Counsel or Special Counsel to work on sophisticated employment litigation, focusing on class and representative actions.

California or Washington bar admission is preferred. The role involves handling matters directly, supervising others, and developing case strategies while managing matters through all phases of litigation, with support from a firm-wide team

Qualifications

• More than seven years of employment litigation experience.
• Significant experience defending employers in class and representative actions.
• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• California or Washington bar admission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case strategy.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive work product.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Supervise attorneys and other team members.
• Advise clients on employment law matters and workplace policies as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys and teams across the firm.
