Fisher Phillips, a leading labor and employment law firm, seeks an experienced Class Action Attorney for a virtual, mostly remote role. The candidate will handle sophisticated employment litigation, including wage-hour matters, supervising teams and developing case strategies in collaboration with partners.

Applicants should have seven or more years of employment litigation experience, strong writing and research skills, and active bar admission (California or Washington preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of employment litigation experience
• Significant class action and wage/hour defense experience
• Experience handling all phases of litigation from discovery to trial
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Active bar membership in good standing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case strategy for complex matters
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs and other work product
• Manage discovery and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare for and conduct depositions
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences and trials
• Supervise attorneys and team members
• Advise on day-to-day employment law matters and workplace policies
• Collaborate across firms and practice groups
