Job summary

Avesis is seeking a Claims Supervisor to lead the Claims staff in a remote role across the United States. You will oversee processing workflows, ensure timely and accurate claim payments, and drive quality improvements while supporting audits and staff development.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of claim processing experience, 2+ years of supervisory or leadership practice, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of claim processing experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial insurance terminology and high-level claims' payment processes.
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Adobe).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Claims staff and processing workflows.
• Lead, mentor, and set goals for supervised team members.
• Ensure timely claim processing within contractual time frames.
• Present updates to leadership and participate in audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports.
