Job summary

Avesis is seeking a Claims Supervisor to oversee the Claims staff, workflows, and daily operations. This role drives timely and accurate processing, supports team members with payment procedures, and contributes to audits and special projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in claims processing, 2+ years in supervision, and strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance terms. Remote role with flexible hours; extensive reporting and collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of claim processing experience required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial insurance terminology.
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Adobe.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate time zones.
• As this role is a remote role, internet with 50 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Claims staff and processing workflows.
• Ensure timely, accurate claim processing per timelines.
• Provide coaching, performance reviews, and guidance to staff.
• Lead team huddles and production reporting.
• Resolve aged claims and assist with audits.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders on deliverables.
• Participate in SOP maintenance and audits.
