Avēsis is seeking a Claims Supervisor to oversee the claims staff, workflows, and daily operations for timely processing and accurate payments. The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and process improvements in a remote setting.

The candidate will apply knowledge of CPT/HCPC coding and insurance terminology, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines while guiding team members toward quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of claim processing experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial insurance terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of Claims staff and daily processing operations.
• Manage claim processing workflows and queue management.
• Lead performance reviews and provide coaching to staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and turnaround times.
• Support audit activities and process improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
