Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee multiple teams of examiners and technical staff handling liability claims. You will monitor workloads, provide training, and give technical direction on examiner reports while maintaining thorough diaries on high-exposure claims.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive claims experience, and the ability to drive process improvements across the office.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; two (2) years in a supervisor role.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Licenses as required; professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for liability claims; monitors workloads and provides training.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Maintains diaries on claims including complex or high exposure cases.
• Compiles reviews and analyzes management reports and takes appropriate action.
• Performs quality review on claims in compliance with audit requirements and standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues and implements final disposition of appeals.
• Reviews reserves on high-cost claims and those beyond individual examiner authority.
• Maintains client contact and promotes professional client relationships.
