Qualifications

• Experience with claims management software and MS Office.
• FAIS RE5 accreditation and related credits are required.
• Minimum of 3 years handling short-term insurance claims (motor, household, commercial).

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and manage short-term insurance claims from inception to settlement.
• Assess claim validity based on policy terms and documentation.
• Investigate circumstances, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, repairers, and legal representatives.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority limits.
• Appoint and manage service providers such as assessors and repairers.
• Ensure claims are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records in the claims management system.
• Identify and report potential fraudulent claims.
• Contribute to process improvements in claims handling.
