Job summary

FinTech People is seeking a hands-on Claims Handler for a remote, 6-month contract. You will own home insurance claims end-to-end, drive improvements, and help scale the claims function as the business grows.

You’ll work with external partners, internal teams, and technology to optimize processes, delivery times, and customer outcomes in a fast-moving insurtech environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Running your own caseload of home insurance claims, from the first call through to final settlement, and getting customers the right result quickly
• Working with outsourced claims partners: reviewing the cases they elevate and holding them to high standards
• Improving response times and service levels by owning key claims processes, both internal and with partners
• Finding smarter, simpler ways of working that save time and improve customer outcomes
• Working with Product, Underwriting and Tech on projects that shape the claims journey as the business grows into new areas
