Big League Movers is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our growing logistics team. You will manage and process claims related to household goods cargo, warehousing, and delays, ensuring accurate resolutions and timely communication with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has moving industry experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple claims independently while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling claims related to cargo, delays, and damages is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple claims independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming claims and guide customers through the filing process.
• Investigate, evaluate, process, and settle claims efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, crews, agencies, and internal teams on updates and resolutions.
• Review shipping documents and supporting documentation for claims.”
• Determine liability, coverage, and settlement amounts per procedures and regulations.
• Manage claims within Supermove and other online systems.
• Coordinate inspections, repairs, and missing item investigations.
• Draft release agreements and process settlements.
