ID Logistics US seeks an experienced Claims Operations Manager to own day-to-day administration and strategic handling of U.S. claims across workers' compensation and casualty lines, including auto, general liability, property, and cargo/logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of responsible claims experience, including hands-on management of multi-state workers' compensation and casualty claims.
• Experience with large-deductible, self-insured, or other retained-risk programs and managing third-party administrators, carriers, or claims vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate exposure, reserves, settlement strategy, medical and indemnity drivers, and claim closure opportunities.
• Strong data discipline and experience using claims management systems, loss runs, dashboards, and spreadsheet-based analysis.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day management of the U.S. non-litigated claims portfolio across WC and casualty lines.
• Triage incidents, ensure reporting, preserve evidence, and determine handling pathways.
• Serve as first-line decision owner for routine/mid-level claims and escalate major issues to Legal.
• Manage carrier, TPA, broker, and vendor performance with clear SLAs and follow-ups.
• Oversight of workers' compensation outcomes including treatment, nurse case management, and return-to-work planning.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Operations to obtain claim information and enable transitions to work.
• Review reserves and development; identify opportunities for early resolution or closure.
• Develop settlement evaluations and coordinate negotiations with adjusters and counsel.
• Handle non-workers' compensation casualty claims with coverage/deductible evaluation.
• Identify subrogation and recovery opportunities while preserving evidence.
• Monitor coverage, denials, and insurer disputes; coordinate with Legal on significant issues.
• Maintain complete claim records in CM systems; produce dashboards and reviews for stakeholders.
• Develop and improve claim reporting procedures and training for sites and partners.
• Support litigated claims with counsel as needed and ensure timely handoffs to Legal.
