Symetra is hiring remote Customer Service Representatives to support the Claims Customer Service team. This remote, contract role offers multiple shifts (9:30-6:00 PM EST and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST) and focuses on disability, life insurance, leave of absence, and claims questions.

You will document interactions in real time, provide accurate claim information, and strive for empathy and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Call center experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare, insurance, financial services, or claims experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask between calls, documentation and multiple systems.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Assisting customers with disability, life insurance, leave of absence, and claims-related questions.
• Providing accurate claim information and updates.
• Documenting customer interactions in real time.
• Reviewing and processing incoming claim documentation.
• Delivering empathetic, high-quality customer service on every call.
• Meeting performance and quality metrics in a fast-paced call center environment.
