Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Claims Associate II to join the Workers’ Compensation Claims Team. This remote US role requires strong multitasking, medical terminology knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to reviewing claims, contacting stakeholders, and coordinating with providers to achieve fair outcomes.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and no prior claims experience, or a High School Diploma with 2+ years in customer service, or Zurich Certified Insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and no prior experience in the Claims area.
• OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years in Customer Service.
• OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and no prior Claims experience.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing new claims and ensuring all required information is complete.
• Making initial contact.
• Responding promptly to emails and phone calls to address questions or concerns.
• Processing incoming mail and handling relevant documentation efficiently.
• Managing medical requests and coordinating with providers as needed.
• Evaluating claims for closure and making decisions that support positive outcomes.
