Job summary

Zurich is hiring a Claims Associate II to join the Workers’ Compensation Claims Team in a remote US capacity. This role supports claims processing, medical coordination, and timely communication with customers and brokers, with a focus on learning and applying best practices within workers' compensation.

Strong candidates will have a background in insurance or customer service and be able to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with no prior claims experience required, or alternative education noted.
• 2+ years of customer service experience allowed with a high school diploma.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing new claims and ensuring all required information is complete
• Making initial contact
• Responding promptly to emails and phone calls to address questions or concerns
• Processing incoming mail and handling relevant documentation efficiently
• Managing medical requests and coordinating with providers as needed
• Evaluating claims for closure and making decisions that support positive outcomes
