Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil OSP Design Specialist to support our growing Outside Plant programs. You will perform QC reviews, ensure designs meet standards, and coordinate across time zones in a hybrid role.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in technology, have AutoCAD or GIS design experience, and are proficient in Excel/Smartsheet. This role requires attention to detail and independent work in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a Technology field or related discipline.
• AutoCAD or similar GIS/design software experience preferred.
• Experience in OSP design, telecommunications, or civil drafting/review.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed QC reviews of Civil OSP design packages, including trenching and duct banks.
• Validate designs meet client templates and technical documentation.
• Coordinate across time zones and support design review cycles.
• Assist in integrating external stakeholder feedback into the design workflow.
